tink Film Festival 2027 Opens Call for Films
Filmmakers, storytellers, activists, and creators from around the world now have the opportunity to share their work with one of Europe's most exciting community-centered film festivals.
tink – trans, inter, non-binary kino has officially opened submissions for its 2027 edition, inviting films that highlight trans, inter, non-binary, and agender experiences. The festival will take place from June 18–20, 2027, in Hamburg, Germany, bringing together audiences, artists, and community members for a weekend dedicated to visibility, creativity, and connection.
Whether your project is a documentary, fiction film, experimental piece, activist work, DIY production, or something entirely different, tink wants to hear from you.
Who Can Submit?
The festival welcomes submissions from anyone who considers their work to be trans, inter, non-binary, and/or agender.
Organizers are especially interested in films that increase the visibility of:
Disabled communities
BIPoC communities
People affected by classism
Intersectional LGBTQ+ experiences
The goal is to showcase the diversity, complexity, and creativity that exists across TINA communities while challenging outdated and stereotypical representations often seen in mainstream media.
More Than a Film Festival
Founded by a collective of trans, non-binary, agender, and cis community members, tink is built on a shared commitment to culture, community, and political visibility.
The first edition of the festival took place in Hamburg in 2025, featuring sold-out screenings at B-Movie cinema and creating a vibrant space for conversation, networking, and community-building.
Since its launch, tink has worked to amplify TINA (trans, inter, non-binary/ and agender) voices, challenge cisnormative narratives, and create opportunities for authentic storytelling both on and off screen.

If you're creating work that reflects trans, inter, non-binary, or agender experiences, this is an opportunity to share your story with a community that values authenticity, diversity, and visibility.
