A Pride at Sea Like No Other

This January, the Baltic Sea becomes fabulously queer.

On January 9, Rainbow Voyage sets sail aboard Birka Gotland, the Baltic Sea’s only fully dedicated cruise ship — transforming it into a 21-hour floating Pride celebration. With over 700 guests already booked, Rainbow Voyage is officially one of the largest LGBTQ+ cruises ever created in Scandinavia.

This is not just a cruise.
It’s a community moment, a safe space, and a dance floor that never sleeps.

“Rainbow Voyage is about joy, connection and celebrating the LGBTQ+ community without limits — at sea.”

Fully Queer, Fully Chartered, Fully Ours

Rainbow Voyage is a fully chartered LGBTQ+ cruise. That means:

  • No public bookings

  • No random passengers

  • A space designed by and for the LGBTQ+ community and allies

Demand has been so high that premium cabins sold out within days, pushing Viking Line to release additional luxury cabins.

Even the crew reflects the spirit of the voyage, with many LGBTQ+ staff members on board — creating a rare sense of safety, visibility and belonging from the moment you step onboard.

Music, Dance Floors & Queer Energy All Night Long

From sunset to sunrise, the ship pulses with sound, movement and connection.

Live artists and DJs include:

  • Adam Woods (Melodifestivalen)

  • Patrik Jean (Melodifestivalen)

  • Fride Moksnes

  • DJ Amor

  • DJ MartinCarl

  • DJ Fanny Arnesson

Expect multiple dance floors, themed club nights, karaoke, sing-alongs, open mingles and spontaneous moments that only happen when queer people feel free.

“This is drag on the open sea — bold, unapologetic and unforgettable.”
